Carol Matibiri Sichangwa
Founder & MD | Events Industry Leader | Creative Strategist
Carol Matibiri is a highly respected events industry professional, entrepreneur, and creative strategist with more than 20 years of experience across the events, hospitality, tourism, and creative sectors in Africa and internationally. Australian-trained and internationally experienced, Carol combines global best practices with deep African market knowledge. She was part of the Event Management team for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia, gaining valuable experience in large-scale event operations, logistics, stakeholder management, and international event standards.
Carol is the founder of Zimbabwe's first structured Events Industry Association under the Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe and the creator of the country's first dedicated Events Industry Awards platform. Through these initiatives, she has helped raise professional standards, strengthen industry collaboration, and create opportunities for sustainable growth. As Founder of CZW Events Specialists, she has built a reputation for delivering exceptional weddings, destination events, corporate functions, hospitality showcases, and industry platforms, combining creative excellence with operational precision.
A passionate advocate for the future of the events industry, Carol is championing the digitisation of event management through innovative solutions such as Easy Seating, a guest RSVP, seating, and event management platform designed to improve efficiency and enhance guest experiences.
Carol has advised leading hospitality and tourism brands including Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles, Prime Venues Zambia, and Africa Albida on event strategy, MICE development, customer experience, revenue growth, and destination positioning.
Her influence extends across Africa. In Zambia, she was recognised as Female Agritech Founder of the Year, reflecting her entrepreneurial leadership and innovation across multiple sectors. Carol also serves on the Board of the African Destination Celebrations Conference & Expo (ADCCE), supporting the growth of Africa's destination weddings and events industry through strategic partnerships, industry development, and cross-border collaboration.

Dora is a seasoned marketing and events professional with more than 15 years of experience delivering impactful marketing campaigns, high-profile events, and strategic communications initiatives across diverse industries. Her expertise spans marketing strategy, event production, stakeholder engagement, public relations, and customer experience, making her a trusted partner for both corporate and consumer-facing brands.
With a strong background in leading teams, managing complex projects, and building meaningful stakeholder relationships, Dora brings a practical, results-driven approach to every engagement. She is passionate about creating experiences that not only achieve business objectives but also leave lasting impressions on audiences.
Dora leads the end-to-end delivery of events, overseeing concept development, planning, budgeting, supplier coordination, logistics, and onsite execution. Her experience includes conferences, summits, workshops, product launches, brand activations, awards ceremonies, exhibitions, corporate functions, VIP events, premium weddings, and large-scale public experiences.
With a strong operational and reporting background, Dora manages complex conference and project environments with precision and attention to detail. Her expertise includes speaker management, delegate registration, VIP and protocol coordination, technical and production oversight, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, compliance tracking, and post-event evaluation.
Dora helps organizations move seamlessly from strategy to execution through integrated marketing and communications solutions.
